What is the largest community that does not use electricity?

    Well it depends how you define community. The Mennonites, commonly known as the Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch, consider themselves a community and are 1,478,540 strong.  Of course their population is spread out all over the world, but they do shun all modern technologies from the use of electricity to internal combustion engines.
