    In a list published in 2005 by the World Association of Newspapers (WAN),Yomiuri Shimbun was named the world’s largest newspaper, with a circulation figure of 14,067,000. In fact, the top three newspapers were form Japan. The Wall Street Journal, the highest circulated paper in the US, came in 14th on the list, with a circulation figure of 2,107,000.
