According to the Guiness Book of World Records, the largest Christmas tree in the world is not even really a tree. It is a neon-lit display erected on a mountain side in Gubbio, Italy and has been up and running every year since 1981. The tree reaches a height of 650 meters (over 7 football fields back to back). The tree stays up each year from December 7 to about January 10.
