What is the largest breed of octopus?

The North Pacific Giant Octopus is known as the largest octopus (from the weighing of a 71 kg octopus of this species), though perhaps some other giant is lurking where no human eyes have seen.  There are arguments, however, that the Seven-arm Octopus may be larger.
