The largest species of kangaroo is the red kangaroo. Its body length can be up to 5.25 feet (1.6 meters) long. It can weigh up to 200 pounds (90 kilograms).
Although it went extinct about 40,000 years ago, Australia was once home to the giant kangaroo. Truly worthy of its name, this animal could be up to 3 m tall (10 ft) and weigh 200 kg!
