The biggest automobile battery plant in the world is the Bristol Superplant in Bristol Tennessee. It is a 600 000 square foot plant that actually combines 5 smaller plants into one super plant. Given the time of year, there is anywhere from 900-1000 people working in the plant that was first opened in 1994. It only took the plant 6 months to make its first 1 million batteries.
