Alaska-Yukon Moose is the largest antlered animal.  Weight can range from 800-1400 pounds, shoulder height between 72-90 inches, and length between 80-108 inches.  The female is smaller with no antlers.  A bull has a palmate antler growing on each side of its head.  The antlers are divided into two branches with the smaller section growing forward.  The Alaska-Yukon Moose can run at speed of 35 mph and is a strong swimmer.  Vision is poor, but smell and hearing is excellent.  These moose are found in Alaska, Yukon, and the MacKenzie Mountains of Canada.
