That’s a rather broad question, so I’ll limit my answer to cases of deliberate harm, i.e., hunting and poaching. According to the journal science, we have hunted over 30 species of animals to extinction and another 30 nearly to extinction. In the former category are whooly mamoths, giant kangaroos, giant bison, three species of camel, giant armadillos, and glyptodonts. In the latter are several species of whale, panda, elephants, eremines, tigers, and rhinos.
