What kinds of poison is in our drinking water?

    Common toxins found in drinking water all throughout the US is lead and coliform bacteria. Another controversial toxin is fluoride, which is added to water supplies for it’s bone hardening effect. Pharmaceticals often are made of chemicals that are not removed by traditional water treatment protocols and also make their way into drinking water. Chloramine is used to disinfect water supplies reacts with plumbing and can lead to high levels of lead in the water.
