It seems that any plant can benefit from compost. Plants need nitrogen and rich nutrients in the soil for healthy growth. Compost piles are made out of plants, fruits and vegetables that have been harvested already. As they decompost, using the circle of life here, the nitrogen releases into the soil and the soil starts to hold more moisure as well.
You can grow vegetables or flowers, like any garden. Depending on the sunlight, of course! And your soil will be chemical free! That always makes for a healthier you!
Yes, most any plant would benefit from compost, but some plants benefit more than others. For example, corn requires quite a bit of nitrogen to get optomal yields. However, beans and peas fix their own nitrogen and potatoes are notorious for growing in poor soil.
