Sea otters eat clams, snails, abalone, mussels, squid, sea cucumbers, and lots of other things.
River otters eat mostly fish, but also eat birds, amphibians, reptiles, and insects.
The diet of otters varies from species to species. River Otters eat crayfish, crabs, fishes and frogs. The Giant Otter eats fishes and crabs. Cape claw less and Asian Small-Clawed Otters eat mainly crabs mollusks and frogs. The Sea Otters diet consists mainly of slow moving fishes and marine invertebrates.
