Fish with the highest levels of mercury are swordfish (.995 PPM), king mackerel (.730 PPM), shark (.979 PPM), and tilefish (1.450 PPM). As a general rule, the higher up a fish is on the food chain, the higher the concentration of mercury will be in its meat.
