This is an ambiguously worded question. I’d propose, however, that if scientific research were a “company”, it is the one “marketing” climate change. Although there is no profit generated, so it can’t be considered marketing. There are companies that are profiting from it, such as renewable energy companies, green product companies, and green design companies, but these are not marketing the problem.
