There are a number of indoor plants that are known to clean the air well. Some of them are the Areca palm, Reed palm, Dwarf date palm, Boston fern, Janet Craig dracaena, English ivy, Australian sword fern, Peace Lily Rubber plant, and Weeping fig. These plants help to get rid of a lot of air pollutants and toxins in the house. They also help balance humidity levels in the house as well. It is suggested that there should be one house plant per 10 square yards of floor space in a house.
