Birds are commonly found in wetland regions; some of these are the blue-winged teal, mallard, little blue heron, American avocet, three-toed woodpecker, roseatte spoonbill, and snow goose. Other animals that make this their home are the beaver, moose, black bear, and muskrat. Fish like the banded killfish, largemouth bass, and striped bass swim in wetland waters.
