What kind of water storage system should I get in case of emergency?

    It is said that every person should have 2 quarts per day in a “normal” environment, so plan accordingly for your household.  It is also recommended to have enough for 3 days but it is ideal to have at least a month’s supply.

    55 gallon drums are specially designed to hold water for storage but any food-grade plastic or glass containers can be used.  The important thing is having safe water in an emergency so anything you can find is useful.
