What kind of toilet paper is the best for our water system?

Just because it’s flushable, doesn’t means it disintegrates in the system.
Septic-safe “tissue” is best overall, even for municipal systems. Look for “septic-safe” on the package. The stuff for RV’s is even better.
If you put a couple of sheets of T.P. into a jar of water and shake it, they should begin to disintegrate immediately.
Never flush wet wipes or tampons (septic plumbers call those “white mice” and often find hundreds of them clogging lines)
