Is petroleum bad for health?
Petroleum is distilled to be used in a wide range of goods. There are different qualities of petroleum, and the more light hydrocarbons it contains the easier it is to make many products. It is used in at least 6,000 items not including oil. These are as varied as vitamin capsules, upholstery, skis, bandages, fertilizers, and aspirin to list a few. Petrochemicals contain dioxin, a chemical linked to cancer and other health issues. Some petrochemicals also contain pthalates which can disrupt your endocrine.
