Canned foods, epecially pastas and soups, have been found to contain the highest BPA levels because of the liner on the inside of the cans. Other products with high BPA levels include liquid baby formula and anything sold in a #7 plastic container (a 7 inside the recycling triangle). Pastic container numbers 1, 2, and 4 do not contain BPA, but it is still recommended that foods be microwaved in glass or ceramic dishes whenever possible.
