What kind of plastic breaks down in oceans the fastest?

Unfortunately, “fastest” is only a relative term.  Thin plastics, such as the kind found in 6 pack rings or plastic bags are speculated to take at least 450 years to decompose.  This is “short” compared to a plastic jug, which scientists believe can take up to a million years to break down completely.
