What kind of mental health distress are the children suffering from because of the oil spill?

The children in the Gulf are probably experiencing a lot of mental anguish. Many of the families in the Gulf region rely solely on the fishing industry for income.  Children of these families are very worried about the wellbeing of their parents and their futures.  It’s very scary for a child to be in an uncertain situation, especially when their families are so intimately tied to the situation.

I’d say stress, depression, and/or anxiety. I am not a doctor so I have no authority to diagnose anyone. Those are the conditions I would expect children to have in such a circumstance.
