Roundup is toxic for many reasons, centrally because of its herbicide chemical name–glyphosate. Glyphosate was recently found to cause non-Hodgkins lymphoma by oncologists Dr. Leonard Hardell and Dr. Mikael Eriksson of Sweden. Of course when Roundup is used on GMO foods there is obviously an increased risk if you consume those kinds of fruits, vegetables, and grains. Glyphosate also is linked to reproductive damage and damage to the kidney and liver. Roundup is the third most commonly reported cause of pesticide related illness among agricultural workers.
