What kind of fish do penguins eat?

Different species of penguins have different diets. For instance penguins of the Antarctic feed on squid and krill (a crustacean). Squid is part of almost all penguins diet, but some also feed on fish as well. Penguins aren’t particular to the type of fish they eat, most fish they encounter will be pursued. Ice fish, cod, lantern fish and other fish inhabiting the arctic seas may potentially be a meal.
