    Lung disease, Respiratory disease, pnemonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, ephysema, joint disease (rheumatoid arthritis).

    Smog contains ozone, which while protecting our atmophere from the Sun’s UV while very far away, is harmful while ground level. The air pollutants that are formed are sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide.
