There is a wide variety of degrees that one could pursue with hopes of working with electric vehicles. First of all, any degree in engineering would aid in the development of the cars on a functional level. Similarly, a degree in chemistry can help to understand the chemical properties of the battery cells involved. On the other end of the spectrum, electric vehicles represent a new market sector that needs a great deal of marketing to grow. Those with degrees in marketing, therefore, can look to work in the industry as well. Supply chain management would also be related once the vehicles undergo mass production.
