What kind of clouds are at the higher elevations?

    Located at higher elevations in the atmosphere are cirrus clouds, which are the “wispy” and thin clouds seen high above other clouds.  Also located in the upper atmosphere are cirrostratus clouds, which are thin sheets of the wispy cirrus clouds.
