Pacific Halibut, found off the coast of Southern California to Nome, Alaska breed in deep water. Sources conflict on the months breeding occurs, though it is winter, and how deep they breed. One source states Pacific Halibut breed from November – January in depths of 275 – 415 feet. Another source states Pacific Halibut breed from November – March in depths of 600 – 1,500 feet.
