The Jet Stream is a collection of strong winds concentrated into narrow streams that flow from west to east across the northern and southern hemispheres. Jet streams are located in the troposphere level of the atmosphere and is created by the change in temperature when polar winds meet equatorial winds and fluctuate altitudes.
