A kangaroo’s pouch is a warm and safe haven for a joey (kangaroo youngster). The inside of the pouch is hairless and their are teets for the joey to suck on. Their are four teets which can enlarge to hold the youngster in place. Each teet provides different milk for the different stages in development.
