An informal organization represents the internal part of an organization where a network of personal and social relationships develops, such as alliances, cliques or friendships. This happens as people associate with other people in a work environment. This bonding of employees is fine but may not contribute to the mission or vision of an organization because there is no structure. A formal structure depicts a strict hierarchy of managerial control and communication.
