Indian wild dogs, or dholes, live mostly in the southern peninsula of India.  They prefer forested areas, but they are also occasionally found in some of the northern provinces.  They have also migrated to the surrounding countries looking for new places to live since India keeps getting more populated and less inhabitable for them.
