The Rupal Flank of the Nanga Parbat in Pakistan is considered the highest cliff in the world. The Nanga Parbat is the ninth highest mountain in the world, reaching 8126 meters in elevation and 4600 meters above its base.
The world’s highest cliff was actually just conquered by two Polish climbers back in 2007. Eliza Kubarska and David Kaszlikowski recently ascended the 1560 meter high Maujit Qaqarssuasia cliffs in Southern Greenland. The cliffs are so dangerous, they are only accessible by boat as they jut directly from the icy sea below.
