Carrots! They are great for you. Some of the health benefits for carrots include; for every 100 grams the carrot has 7.6 grams of carbs, .6 grams of protein, .3 grams of fat, 30 milligrams of calcium, and ,6 milligrams of iron. Also goof for fiber, vitamin B1, B2 and B6!
Beets! Often overlooked and can have somewhat of an acquired taste, beets are best known for their anti-inflammatory and detox abilities. They also have a significant amount of folate and have red pigments that scientists are still looking into as possible cancer fighters. They’ve been called the ‘red spinach’ before because they are as nutritionally sound — and are just as aesthetically pleasing in terms of color!
