What is the healthiest rainforest in the world?

While “healthiest” could be interpreted in several ways, the Platano Rainforest in Honduras is a rainforest that has retained its richness and livelihood in the face of anthropogenic climate change and clearcutting. The forest still boasts incredible biodiversity and a number of native species. It is also the home of 2,000 indigenous people who have been able to continue their way of life.

Also, the Amazon of course is the world’s largest rainforest, and contains the most species of any of the tropical rainforests in the world.
