    Target has a few environmental programs that help to reduce their footprint. They allow the Salvation Army and Goodwill to buy clearanced and damaged items and resell them, they design new corporate offices with energy efficient windows, insulation, mechanical equipment and lighting, they recycle damaged shopping carts to create pet food dishes, and they educate team members on various environmental issues.
