These woods are used mostly for wood products in home across the world. Most of the treesfrom the rain forests are considered exotic woods. Woods such as mahogany, teak, balsa, and rosewood are examples of the highly sought after and highly priced rain forest woods. Most of this wood is made into elegant furniture or flooring for high-end homes.

Lotions, cosmetics, and soaps are also made from oil from the cacao seed. Latex is used from the rubber tree to make tires, surgical equipment, and other items. Many other items including golf balls, cleaners, drinks, shoes, fuels, and varnish all are made from products in the rain forest.
