It got postponed. Former radio evangelist Harold Camping moved the date to Oct. 21st after nothing happened on May 21st. Camping has set rapture dates 4 times, but things never seem to go his way. He uses math formulas based on data that he claims are encoded in the Bible. I’m not sure what his take is then on the part of the Bible that says no one, “not even the angels in heaven” know when the rapture will occur. “Therefore keep watch, for you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” (Matthew 24:42) I’m not a Greek scholar but I always interrupted the “you” in this verse in the broadest sense possible so I imagine “you” includes Harold Camping.
