2. 70 Park Avenue in New York City, on top of a company-wide eco-program, repurposed their kitchen oil in biodiesel, offers discounts for hybrid drivers, and features an eco-concierge.
3. Gaia Napa in California was constructed with recycled materials and as little energy as possible. This hotel utilizes recycling to the maximum, which includes many of their furniture.

Hotels create a variety of wasteful situations from excessive water use from laundry and bathroom facilities to wasted mini soaps constantly re-supplied in rooms.
