What is the greenest fuel that we use for our cars?

While ethanol and biofuels produce fewer emissions than standard gasoline, they are not the cleanest alternative fuels out there. The electric car, with zero emissions, might have won the title of cleanest car on the road if it weren’t for the little problem of battery disposal, which can also be harmful to the environment. In light of this, hydrogen fuel cells are the cleanest alternative, producing only water vapor and heat as an emission. Perhaps even more promising is the fairly new idea of “air-powered” cars, using only compressed air as a means for propulsion.
