The latest technology of the army’s green aircrafts, is the Long Endurance Multi-Intelligence Vehicle (LEMV).  LEMV is a collaborative effort between Northrop Grumman of the US and Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd. of United Kingdom.  In 2011 three massive, 300 foot long aircrafts, will be used for surviellance in Afghanistan.  Flying at approximatetly 20,000 feet above sea level, the LEMV can maintain, unmanned, for three weeks.
