What is the Grand Trianon chandelier? Why is it unique?

It is made of post-consumer (recycled) Tyvek, which is a very lightweight material. Tyvek is a patented material bought for the production of things like envelopes and credit card sleeves.

The chandelier is also unique in that its design is inspired by the French Rococo period;the name Grand Trianon was the name of King Louis XVI’s palace.

Lastly, the light’s design is such that when lit it emits a nice subtle glow; in contrast to other chandelier’s which tend to be quite luminous.
