The Kakadamu plum, which is native to Australia, contains the highest Vitamin C concentration with 3200-5000mg/100g.
The fruit with the highest concentration of Vitamin C per weight is the Camu Camu, found in the Amazon. It weighs in at 2.7 grams of Vitamin C per 100 grams of fruit. However due to the fact that most people have never heard of a Camu Camu or will likely ever have the opportunity to eat one, there is a winner for more common, commercially available fruit. This distinction goes to the yellow fleshed kiwi fruit, which is higher than it’s green fleshed cousin (although not by too much!)
