What is France doing to make charging stations mandatory?

  1. 0 Votes

The French government has announced it will construct a nationwide charging station network, which will cost approximately 1.5 billion Euro or $2.2 billion USD. To pay for the project, the government is chipping in a state loan totalling 900 million Euro that’s set to launch next year using taxpayer money, and private business owners are financing the rest. The government is mandating that charging stations be installed in office parking lots by 2015 and apartment parking lots by 2012.
