The coast redwood trees (Sequoia sempervirens) found in the od growth forests of Redwood National Park in California are the tallest trees in the world, coming in at almost 380′ in height. The second runners up are a full 50 feet shorter: the Australian mountain-ash (Eucalyptus regnans), found in Tasmania and Australia.
