Female leopards can reproduce at 2 years of age. The gestation period lasts about 100 days, and leopards usually have 1 to 3 cubs per litter. During heat, females use the scent of their urine to attract potential mating partners.
Female leopards reach sexual maturity at around 33 months, but they only give birth to cubs every two years. Their gestation period lasts around 96 days.
