    The fastest land mammal in the United States is the pronghorn. Pronghorns can run at a speed of 53 mph, making them the second fastest mammal in the world (second to the cheetah).     The Pronghorn Antelope is the fastest land mammal in North America, living in most western states as well as some Canadian provinces. Although it cannot jump, the Pronghorn can travel up to 65 mph.
