What is the fastest bear?

The fastest type of bear is agreed upon as the grizzly bear.  They can run at speeds up to 30-35 miles per hour.  They may be able to reach these speeds because of their large size which allows them to take longer strides.  Polar bears are the largest of the bear family, however their environment requires them to conserve energy and body heat; as a result, they are not as fast.
