What is an example of successful program for re introducing animals back into the wild?

One such example concerns the Przewalski’s Horse. This is the only extant wild horse species. It was extinct in the wild for a while though, after 1969 (last sighting). A breeding program using zoo animals released 16 horses into Mongolia in 1992, and was releasing more as years went by. The animals survived and bred in the wild successfully, and are now listed as “critically endangered” by the IUCN.

They reintroduced wolves back to Yellowstone Park. However, many farmers are upset because wolves obviously pose a threat to their livestock.
