The Evolutionary-Ecological Land Ethic, which is part of a group of ethics that pertains to conservation biology, states that it is difficult, if not impossible, for humans – whom have derived great benefits from nature – to select which resources and qualities of nature are of value due to the interconnectedness of the ecosystems of Earth. In other words, everything in nature is important, no matter how useful or useless they are to humans, to the life cycle of our planet.
