The Cape Wind project is a huge project. It is a wind farm located 5 to 13 miles of the coast of Cape Cod. It is a 163 nautical-square-mile wind farm, and the first of its kind in the US. The expected or rather desired output is the equivalent of 113 million gallons of fuel. Estimated maximum output of 454 megawatts of electricity. There has been lots of debate around this project because of the disruption to the aesthetics of the Nantucket sound by the wind farm.
